CURTISS-WRIGHT SIGNS TEAMING AGREEMENT WITH HANWHA OCEAN OF KOREA FOR LONG-TERM COOPERATION ON THE CANADIAN PATROL SUBMARINE PROJECT

Cheswick, PA – March 25, 2026 – Curtiss-Wright today announced that it has signed a Teaming Agreement with Hanwha Ocean of Korea for long-term cooperation on the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project for Towed Array Handling Systems to support KSS-III submarines. Work under this agreement will be performed by Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Systems, based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Curtiss-Wright has supplied the Towed Array Handling Systems to the KSS-III submarine, one of the most capable ocean-going, diesel-electric platforms, to the Republic of Korea Navy since 2011. KSS-III is an in-service platform that meets all the Royal Canadian Navy’s operational requirements and the urgent delivery timeline for the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project.
